Well, it's official. I have begun my journey to get my body back. I have to get rid of this baby fat. Especially since my baby is 10! I have joined a gym and have gone 2 days in a row and I feel great. The last straw came when I tried to zip my winter coat and it is way too tight. I have been walking around with it open and darn it it's cold! Also, after yet another weekend of chief cook, bottle washer, laundery clerk, chauffer, and personal shopper, I have let my family know that I quit! It is all about me for awhile! I have pulled out my Weight Watcher and lowfat Cookbooks an I am fired up! Let me know if you have any good recipes to share.
Here is my motivator:

Good luck on your journey. Since we've been here, I've met some really inspirational mommies. I started really running/jogging now. Our house is about or a little over 3-4 (2-3 miles) kilometers away from base. One of my girlfriends suggested that my husband take the car in to work/base every other day. That way, I would have to walk or run to go and get it. Unless it's raining or I'm sick, I'm out there Monday, Wednesday, Friday with my jogging stroller....Joshua with his granola bar breakfast in hand. I never was a jogger. I hated running period. In high school I was doing 14 minute miles in PE class. I've found now it's a great way to push the negative energy out. I can't complain or feel emotionally bummed when physically my body is struggling just to keep going. :) Stay motivated!
